Ottolenghi is my fave though his recipes can be a bit involved, so more of weekend projects! If you like Chinese food, I cook out of Woks of Life all the time—the best.
I do love Chinese food! There were a few Chinese-inspired recipes in Dinner Tonight (well, an American interpretation at least) and they were some of our favorites. Will check out Woks of Life to start & *maybe* brave Ottolenghi at some point 😉
I love all of Ina Garten's cookbooks, especially Cooking For Jeffrey.
I think I have an Ina Garten blind spot but I must overcome!

Love love all of Julia Turshen’s cookbooks, but especially Now & Again
I am a huge fan of Primal Gourmet!
The first Defined Dish cookbook is great! Highly recommend. Also I love cooking from The Woks of Life.
I will have to check out the first one too! I think I saw the “whole 30 approved” sticker & was like… I need carbs, thanks haha
Im a huge fan of Alex and I also love Gabi Dalkin’s cook books.
Whoops, Gaby, but the What’s Gaby Cooking everyday Californian is beautiful and delicious
I think I’ve seen her recipes on Instagram but I’ll add the cookbook to my list!
I would recommend the half baked harvest books but not for weeknights. And the Claire Saffitz books for desserts.
I think desserts shall be my next undertaking!
I recommend Ali Slagle’s I Dream of Dinner (So You Don’t Have To)! Pantry and varying cooking skill level friendly!
Milk Street/Chris Kimball’s Cook-ish is on my list to try to cook from next.
Haven’t heard of either of these, will check them out! Thank you!
