I’m writing this post at the beginning of August, and the end of June feels so long ago.

The month of June was marked entirely by our kitchen renovation, which started on June 5th and was (mostly) completed by July 4th.

I taught a million mahjong lessons — only a slight exaggeration, it feels like — and didn’t do much else. June 22nd marked three years in Chicago, and I was so distracted I didn’t even remember!
