It’s the first 1 Thing of 2025, and there’s so much pressure! Do I say something profound? Recommend something inspiring? Offer a suggestion that might transform the year ahead of you?
Absolutely not.
I’m going to recommend changing the wallpaper on your laptop / iPad / tablet / phone every month.
This is very low stakes, but I love the tech backgrounds from The Everygirl. They release new ones every month, & I always update my computer to something different.
It’s a fun way to mark the start of a new month & I don’t have to commit to something long-term. It’s more professional than a picture of my cat, and less boring than the default options.
So there you have it, a very short & sweet first recommendation of the year: free desktop backgrounds 😂 Let’s hope I get more interesting from here!
