Please don't tell my friend's two-year-old daughter, but she has a care package coming her way as soon as I get my ass to the post office. Now that she's old enough to remember me (& and ask to Facetime with me, kids these days), I am more committed than ever to execute my plan to make sure we are BFFs for eternity.
But I live on the opposite coast from my closest friends & family, and although I want to be a person who sends birthday & anniversary & special occasion cards, I am decidedly not.
Instead, I'm taking advantage of the USPS small flat rate box -- for $7.50, I can fill it with anything & send it anywhere domestically. And the thought of my favorite two-year-old opening a box full of a coloring book, gummy snacks, & an apple sauce pouch from her favorite Aunt Jenn is worth ten times that.
